Here is What We Plan To Do
Our Action is to build support for legislative bills in the 2024 legislative session to give cities and towns the ability to set a percentage cap on the number of Short-term Rentals (STRs). Our campaign involves delivering a letter signed by organizations, businesses, local leaders, and individuals all over Arizona, where communities and businesses are suffering. We are mobilizing communities to contact their legislators directly to let them know the time is overdue to rectify this disaster by capping the percentage of STRs. By organizations signing the letter, we can show legislators the huge support we have all over Arizona. By having individuals sign the letter, we can show broad support from their constituents. We plan to meet with the legislative committee members who will vote on the bill, present them with our signed letter, and encourage them to vote YES on the bill(s).
